Welcome to my blog

So, I've obviously joined the blogosphere, too. »Why?«, you might ask. Well, having an incredibly outdated website, a defunct wiki, a photo site that is in definite need of some redesign, I decided that adding something new was the thing to do :-)

No, really, I sometimes notice (mostly technical) stuff that probably would be interesting to others too and until now I had no place where I could put it easily. In case you are wondering about the name, it goes back to a colleague of mine. He is actually a non-technical colleague (I try not to use the »c«-word too much around here), but for some reason he really enjoys saying »shift or die!«

Let's see how this experiment goes, enjoy the reading, I'll try to enjoy the writing ...

And thanks for the pointer to the entries on GPW.

You might have convinced me that Angerwhale is the software I should look at for my future blog. I have been blogging for some time

on http://use.perl.org/~jonasbn/journal/, but I need something for a website of mine, which is already running on Catalyst.

If you add an RSS feed, you will have a regular reader ;-)
